Colored Earths of Chamarel: These are seven-colored dunes situated at Chamarel. It is believed that the structure was formed due to the weathering of volcanic rocks. At a short distance from it, you will also be able to find the charismatic Chamarel waterfalls.

The Bird Garden of Casela – This garden is situated between the Tamarin and Bambous in the Riviere Noire district. The park houses around 140 bird species belonging to different parts of the world. Here, you will be able to savor your eyes over the Mauritian Pink Pigeon, one of the rarest birds in the world. This bird is rare and is being protected to avoid the fate of the dodo bird. The park remains open every day between 9 am to 5 pm.

Ile aux Cerfs - This is a small island that attracts many holiday-makers from around the globe. You can take up the ferry that runs several times every hour between 9 am and 4 pm. The island is owned by a hotel named Le Touessrok Sun Hotel. The travel is free for the hotel guests.

Domaine Les Pailles – Situated at the foot of the Moka mountain range, this nature park stretches around 3,000 acres. You can choose between touring the park, taking a ride in a horse-drawn carriage, or going on a train.
